Mission StatementThe Blue Moon Dance was born as a dream from an out of state lesbian wanting to meet women beyond the bar scene, but within a safe and fun environment. Hi! My name is Cynthia Schepps, and as the director of the Blue Moon Dance for the past 7 years, I have passionately carried the torch forward from the original trailblazer. I have committed to carry on the Blue Moon Dance until I am too old to dance (which will be never)! This event is a labor of love for me. At the close of - or during - many dances, I cry tears of joy for having experienced another successful social gathering for women. Believe me when I say it is love that motivates me, and only love. Love for the dance, love for the community, and love for all those that join the fun each month! I appreciate and honor all women who attend. Without you, there is no dance. It takes all of us to keep the Blue Moon Dance alive. If you have never attended the Blue Moon Dance I urge you to put on your dancing shoes and join us! For me, there is no other experience as liberating as dance, and no better way to meet people than in the environment we provide. Even if you are not a dancer, come and experience an exciting atmosphere and meet new friends! Join us for a night of fun and wonderful women. We strive to:
