Following are the thoughts of some of the women who attend the Blue Moon Dance every month. Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts with us.

Hi there. I had the wonderful experience of being taken to Blue Moon by a group of friends about a year ago and have HIGHLY recommended it to many people I know. It is such a great place with great plus factors - no smoking, BYOB (& even munchies) and great music. Wish you could "clone" it and have more than one Blue Moon in the city but am so glad to have what we do. Thanks for your efforts in keeping it going and providing such a fun place where "girls can be girls" and have fun. Thanks again!

Great Website! Very user friendly. I look forward to seeing more pictures. We are very excited about the New Years Dance. We can't wait to dance in the new year! We are an hour and a half from the dance and it is always worth the drive.

Hello everyone! I wanted to drop a note abou the Blue Moon Dance that has been mentioned on our chat list. Some of us went last night and checked it out. It was marvelous! I'm planning to go back again and again. Here are the points I remember most: It's a nice area, you feel quite comfortable in the parking lot as you walk to the ballroom where the dance is held. The ballroom is very nice. It is upstairs with elevator access as well as stairs. No other business has access, so there are no concerns about people strolling by. The is smoking outside, and they a have non-alcoholic bar. You are allowed to bring your own drinks. The people were very nice and friendly. The music was good with a good mix - some country, some disco, some rock, and so forth. It's a great place to meet women that does not feel like a "meat market". Lots of people come from surrounding suburbs and out of town. The DJ is very cute and does a great job with the music and people. They contribute the profits to charities and other women's organizations as well as improve the dance.

I work the "bar" and just wanted to say a sincere "Thank you" to all the wonderful women that have been coming to the dance. Especially to the ones who stay late and help with the clean up. It has been so nice meeting all of you and sharing this good time. Hope to see you all there every month.

I just got through reading thru some of the different items featured on your website, and I loved it. I truly believe that you and Pat Stone are the "Guru's" of our people. This is the best place I have been to in years. Everyone is friendly and willing to dance if you are willing to ask or say yes when you are asked. Great music, the D.J. is awesome. I could go on and on, but come see for yourself.

To Cynthia and all of the long-standing and committed volunteers: I am often shy around people that I don't know and I liked the warm and friendly people who dance and play with abandon. I have since been involved as a volunteer myself, for fun and friendship as well as to support this wonderful and unique woman-space. I appreciate so very much the hard work and dedication of Cynthia, Catherine, Judy, Tommie and the other volunteers who make this experience happen month after month. I was the "little lost lamb" in the blue sun dress at the Blue Moon Dance this past Saturday night. I wanted to let you know that I've never had such a nice time meeting people in my entire life! Many thanks to my friend from Ft. Worth for being the one to invite me. To be honest, I did not want to leave that night. I left home at 5:00 in order to get there in plenty of time before dark, and be able to remember the return path home. It was quite a journey and thanks to one of the new friends I made that night, who drove several miles out of her way to lead me to my I35E access road, I had no problems getting home safely. Everyone there was just so nice it did make me want to cry tears of joy. I want to thank you, Cynthia, for taking me under your wing and introducing me to people. I look forward to next month. I'll be there from start to finish so that I don't miss a single minute of meeting people and being with such wonderful women. I had no idea that everyone would be so incredibly sweet and welcoming to me.
